Author Guidelines

Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to EKSELENSIA : Journal of Economics and Social must follow the guidelines below.

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration in other journals.

  • Articles must be relevant to the journal’s focus and scope covering economics, social sciences, and sharia.

  • Manuscripts may include research articles, review articles, or conceptual studies.

  • Manuscripts can be written in Indonesian or English.

2. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be organized as follows:

  • Title

  • Author(s) name and affiliation

  • Abstract (Indonesian and English)

  • Keywords

  • Introduction

  • Research Method

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • Acknowledgment (optional)

  • References

3. Formatting

  • Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word.

  • The length of the manuscript should be approximately 6–12 pages, including tables and figures.

  • Use Times New Roman font size 12 pt.

  • Line spacing 1.5.

  • Paper size A4 with standard margins.

4. Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstracts must be written in Indonesian and English.

  • The abstract should contain 150–250 words in a single paragraph.

  • It should briefly describe the research objective, methodology, main findings, and conclusion.

  • Provide 3–5 relevant keywords.

5. Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures must be clearly numbered and titled.

  • The source must be cited if the table or figure is adapted from other references.

6. References

  • References should be relevant and preferably from recent scholarly sources.

  • The reference list should follow the APA citation style (or the journal template).

  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

7. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system.

  • Authors should ensure that the manuscript follows the journal template and guidelines before submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
