Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to EKSELENSIA : Journal of Economics and Social undergo a peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance to the journal’s focus and scope.
The manuscript review process consists of the following stages:
1. Initial Editorial Screening
The editor conducts an initial screening of the submitted manuscript to ensure that it meets the journal’s focus and scope, formatting requirements, and completeness of submission documents.
2. Plagiarism Screening
The manuscript will be checked using plagiarism detection software to ensure that the similarity index remains within the acceptable limit.
3. Peer Review Process
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be sent to at least two reviewers who have expertise in the relevant research area. The reviewers evaluate the manuscript objectively and independently, assessing the research methodology, scientific contribution, clarity of analysis, and relevance of the study.
4. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations, the editor will make one of the following decisions:

Accept with minor revisions

Accept with major revisions

Reject
5. Author Revision
If revisions are required, the author must revise the manuscript according to the reviewers’ comments within the specified time frame.
6. Final Decision
After the revised manuscript is submitted, the editor will conduct a final evaluation before deciding whether the manuscript will be published in the journal.
The entire review process is conducted professionally, objectively, and with strict confidentiality regarding the identities of both authors and reviewers.
