Screening for Plagiarism Policy
EKSELENSIA : Journal of Economics and Social is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring that all published articles are original scholarly works. Therefore, every manuscript submitted to this journal will undergo a plagiarism screening process before entering the peer-review stage.
The plagiarism check is conducted using reliable plagiarism detection software to identify textual similarities with previously published works.
The journal sets a maximum similarity index of 25%, excluding properly cited quotations, references, and commonly used technical terms.
If the similarity level exceeds the permitted threshold or if plagiarism is detected, the manuscript may:
-
Be returned to the author for revision, or
-
Be rejected by the editor.
Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, or data falsification, is considered a serious violation of publication ethics and will not be tolerated by the journal.
